Venomous Breath

Who are you and what do you do in your band?

Hailz. Greetings from Brazil! My name is Thiago and I’m vocalist from the band

When/where was your band formed?

Venomous Breath was formed in 2010 by the past guitar player F.R and myself in Campina Grande city, Brazil. Then we called our friend Jaime to play drums. After a time, we decide to calling Jairo to play bass because I can’t play and vociferate at same time. With this formation we make 2 demos and a full length. In recording of “Et viscera Sanguis” we felt the need to other guitar, so we called Sauron to join us. After our tour in Brazil, we put F.R out of the band and Jairo took the guitar and we called Anguis to play bass.

Why did you choose to play Death Metal?

Because it’s the most chaotic music in the world and covers a lot of ideology that we believe. Death Metal is the wild side of the being, the side that humanity ignores because a deity don’t permitted. We spit on that.

How do you compose your music? Does only one guy do everything or does everyone contribute?

All members write lyrics for the band according our thoughts and beliefs. About music, now Jairo composing a lot of riffs that we working on, but anyone can compose.

Tell us about your lyrics, writing, inspiration etc.

Our inspiration is the dark side of life, gore, guts, sex and blood. We show to humans your putrid side that a lot of peoples have shame but exist in all human being. I want to write about occultism for next recording but just an idea for now.

Et Viscera Sanguis was released in 2014. Can we expect new Venomous Breath material anytime soon?

We’ll make a Euro Tour in 2016 between September and October. Now our plans is focusing on this trip. We intend to record something for this tour, but not confirmed about this record, yet. At the same time we’re looking for labels interest in an reissue for Et Viscera Sanguis.

How do you see the state of Death Metal music these days in your country and in general?

Death Metal always was and always be. In 90s, Death Metal was huge, then came the Black Metal in beginning of 2000s, than Thrash Metal, now Death Metal comes again to the top. In Brazil there’s a lot of Death Metal bands with ideology and power. There are new and old bands releasing fucking great materials and propagating the evil through our lands.

What are your long term plans as a band? What do you want to achieve?

Bring Chaos to the world, drink a lot, make albums and tours, like Lemmy.

Name an other Death Metal band from your country that everyone should hear.

There’s a lot of bands like Escarnium, Demonized Legion, Cemitério, Heretic Execution, Considered Dead, Worship no One, Infamous Glory, Beast Conjurator and much more.
