Who are you and what do you do in your band?
T.I. is the name, I make percussive noises and try my best to compose music that causes nausea and urge to act violently towards other people.
When/where was your band formed?
During the 13th glorious year of the 3rd millennium. Praise the Lord!
Why did you choose to play Death Metal?
Well, why do you choose to breathe or eat? Why some people choose to commit a suicide? It is something we need to do. Our blood and nature demands it.
How do you compose your music? Does only one guy do everything or does everyone contribute?
Me and Jaakko (our guitarist) compose the songs about 50-50. Well, I take my instrument, play, if something good and worthy emerges I make a song. If I’d take a wild guess Jaakko makes his songs in a similar way. Of course there is a possibility that he abuses benzodiazepines and paints random notes with his vomit on the walls, but I doubt it.
Tell us about your lyrics, writing, inspiration etc.
Our lyrics are about total death, total genocide and burning down all nations. Inspiration comes when you least expect it and in various odd forms; when someone crashes a plane to a mountain, mutilates their genitals, conquers an area belonging to another country by force, or you are just walking outside and think what would it feel like to randomly attack someone.
Is there an ideology behind your band?
We have our own and personal ideologies, but as a group no. Well, maybe misanthropy and love towards alcohol is something we share.
How do you see the state of Death Metal music these days in your country and in general?
99,6 percent of music suck balls, despite the genre. I don’t give a fuck about the state of any genre in particular.
What are your long term plans as a band? What do you want to achieve?
It would be nice to get billions of dollars, buy nuclear weapons and start a world war. But releasing a full-length album will do for now.
Name an other Death Metal band from your country that everyone should hear.
Malicious, Krypts, Swallowed, Obscure Burial. That’s about it.
